![]() i reset my NAS and when it came back online my Plex server was no longer able to be found. so i started investigating it on my Server. things came to a head last night when i setup a 4K Apple TV and it wasn't "Authorizing" that but my standard Gen 4 Apple TV was fine. including my own phone logged into the same account. ![]() everything was fine up until a month or two ago when mobile apps would no be "Authorized" to connect to the server. I have a NAS Synology that is attached to my next work where my Plex server is set up. I've even attempted to purge the /volume1/Plex directory (I have backups). As I can't access the application, I cannot get the logs. I have rebooted my NAS after the uninstall and re-install. I have uninstalled the full package and reinstalled with no issues. I then looked at the real-time processes via htop command, I can see the server attempt to start, but then the process stops and drops off the list. T13:56:58-07:00 MyVolume synoscgi_1_start: pkgstartstop.cpp:277 Failed to start pkgctl-Plex Media Server (err=-1).T13:56:58-07:00 MyVolume synoscgi_1_start: service_initjob_action.c:27 InitJobStart failed,. ![]() T13:56:57-07:00 MyVolume synoscgi_1_start: servicecfg_internal_lib.c:187 Failed to start job.T13:56:57-07:00 MyVolume init: pkgctl-Plex Media Server pre-start process (489) terminated with status 1.When I log into SSH and look at the /var/log/messages, I've found the following lines after every attempt to run the package: However, when I attempted to run the service, I received the following error: Failed to run the package service. I manually updated the Plex Media Server package this morning (as I have done multiple times before).
